Richard Logan, MSocSC

Richard holds a Masters of Social Science (Counselling) from the University of South Australia; a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Queensland, Australia and a Diploma of Teaching in Primary and Special Education from the Brisbane College of Advanced Education. Richard also is accredited as an Imago Relationship Therapist. Richard has worked with children/ teenagers and their families for thirty-five years. Having lived in Singapore for 20 years, Richard has experienced the ups and downs of expatriate life.

Richard has clinical experience working with older children, teenagers and adults. Richard works with:

  • Relational issues including communication, (pre)marriage, divorce, parenting, conflict resolution.
  • Emotional issues including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, guilt, anger management
  • Stress reduction/management, time management, transition, addiction

Richard works with a solution oriented approach informed by techniques/interventions from other schools of thought (i.e. cognitive, behavioural, psychodynamic, and transpersonal). He is a trained NOVA Crisis Responder. Richard has flexible hours that include after school/office hours and weekends.
