Miranda Ledesma MSocSc
As an integrative therapist, Miranda utilizes Systemic Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Solution Focused Therapy in her work. Over the past four years she has worked in the Singapore social service sector, serving both local and expat clients. Miranda works with adults and couples on issues ranging from depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, infidelity, emotional resilience, and adjustment issues.
Additionally, she has conducted workshops on various topics including self care, yoga in the workplace, and marital issues. A certified yoga instructor, Miranda uses yoga and breath techniques to teach clients about stress management.
She is a registered member of the SAC (Singapore Association for Counsellors), and is a regular contributor to SAC’s bi-annual newsletter, The Savvy Therapist.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Miranda spent more than fifteen years in the financial services sector in the US, Europe, and Asia. Having been an expat for more than thirteen years, she has a keen understanding of the challenges faced by those living far away from their home countries. Miranda’s unique experience gives her deep insight into the demands of working in the corporate sector.
Miranda holds a Masters of Social Science (Professional Counselling), and a diploma in Family Therapy from Swinburne University Australia.
