International Counselling & Psychology Centre (ICPC) was founded in 2015. The professional team brings over 40 years collective experience providing supportive mental health services in an international environment, both to the expatriate and local community, and within the region. ICPC’s team understands – as professional therapists, and from their personal experience of working and living internationally – the challenges faced by children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Our therapists have lived and worked internationally and have supported clients from over 30 different cultures; guiding children, teens and adults, from the home to the classroom, and into the world.
We look forward to meeting with you!
The Gottman Institute
A research-based approach to relationships
The Gottman Method is an approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of
the couple’s relationship and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound
Relationship House Theory.
Living, working, and traveling in multi-cultural contexts can be challenging. While the diversity of visible cultural food, festivals, language, architecture and clothing can be a lot of fun, the invisible culture of hierarchy, respect, roles, values, attitudes and beliefs can be difficult to navigate.
