Susanne DiBiagio, MSocSc
Susanne holds a Master’s Degree in Social Science, Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia.She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing from Blekinge University in Karlskrona, Sweden as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Intermediate Nursing from the University of Orebro, Sweden.
Susanne uses an eclectic approach in her counselling that encompasses Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy.The focus of her counselling sessions is to assist adults and adolescents by empowering them with the ability to face and overcome their existing challenges. She believes that therapy is a journey the therapist and client make together. To facilitate the journey she combines therapies that are founded on proven counselling practices and individually adapts the therapy to meet each client’s specific needs.
Susanne is from Sweden and has lived and worked internationally since 1989.She is a well-rounded, cross-cultural experienced counsellor as she has resided in Sweden, India, Norway, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Australia, Singapore and the United States. She feels very privileged to have the opportunity to work with both local and expatriate clients. Susanne is fluent in English, Swedish and Norwegian and can conduct therapy in any of those languages.
